An offline sale is refused at the counter, not two hours later when the tablet finds wifi and the customer has gone. Rules needing figures only the server holds are labelled Online only, so you always know which is which.
Type the rule the way you would say it out loud and the assistant lays it out for you. You still read it, test it and switch it on. After that it is ordinary deterministic code — if our AI provider went down, every rule you own keeps working.
You do not start from a blank page. The system reads what your company actually does and offers ready rules sized to your own figures — so "large" means large here. A rule with nothing behind it is never offered: no batches, no expiry rule.
Switching a rule off is one click and keeps its history. So is undoing the last change. You can always answer "who changed the rule that stopped my invoice, and when?" — which is the question that actually gets asked.
