We currently have 5 remote locations and 2 engineers in a some office space. We want to link then together and use the inventory system for invoicing and bar coding purposes

Download the Golden Web Inventory system
You have to install this program on each your computer in your office and in the remote locations.
Run the office Golden Web Inventory system and use the menu "File- Security". Enter Admin name and New password and click the button Change. Create a shared folder on your server, for example C:/Shared folder. Put the database file invent.idb in this folder.
Create the subfolder "golden" in your web server folder C:\Inetpub .
Unpack the our zip file and put .asp files in the folder "C:\Inetpub\golden".
Open the file config.asp in NotePad and change the row: data_file=Server.MapPath("/App_Data/invent.idb") on data_file="C:/Shared folder/invent.idb"
Run Golden Web Inventory at the remote computers and connect to the inventory database using the menu "File-Open Database-Remote Web database". Enter in the web service form : yourdomain.com/golden and click OK.
Launch Golden Web Inventory at the office computers and connect these through local network to the database file invent.idb using the menu "File-Open Database-Database file".
